Hello! My name is Alina Buevich and I’m a designer & illustrator—sometimes you can spot my work at events but other times it lives online, in print, or even on some merch. Outside of that, I also spend my time drawing, taking on freelance projects, and collaborating on lump shop. In a lot of these projects you’ll see examples of work from my time as an in-house designer at Discord and Chronicle Books.

Melty Chihuahua

Because a lot of my design work at Discord was tied to marketing campaigns, not many of my projects were truly evergreen within the app itself. So funnily enough, one of my lasting legacies at Discord is probably the concept creation of the “Melty Chihuahua” sticker that still exists as one of the app’s core branded sticker sets. The idea for this anxious chihuahua-like pile of meme goop was super roughly sketched out by me and actually fully realized by animation studio, Bonkers, who did an amazing job!

Cursed Wumpuses

Not every Wumpus is a regular Wumpus. Sometimes, they’re part worm, sometimes they’re very weary, sometimes they’re an e-boy, and sometimes they’re working from home and desperately need to shower.
